- What is sched.fyi?
- sched.fyi is a one-link booking page for appointment-based businesses such as dental clinics, spas, salons, barbershops, and studios. Customers open the link in a browser, pick a service and a time slot, and receive an SMS confirmation with a reference code plus a calendar invite. The business gets a dashboard that lists the day's bookings in arrival order, marks no-shows in one tap, and sends SMS reminders automatically.
- How is sched.fyi different from Calendly?
- Calendly, Setmore, and Booksy are built around multi-staff calendars and team scheduling. sched.fyi is a booking front door for a single business: one link, one queue, and SMS reminders included in every plan. It does not replace practice-management software such as Dentrix, Studio Ninja, Apointy, or MindBody — bookings land in sched.fyi and the rest of the work stays in the tools a business already uses.
- Does the customer need to install anything?
- No. The booking link opens in any web browser — customers do not need an app, an account, or a sign-in. They enter a name and mobile number, then receive an SMS confirmation and an .ics calendar invite that works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook.
- What countries are supported?
- sched.fyi is available in the Philippines and New Zealand. In the Philippines, reminders are sent over local SMS with the sender ID SCHEDFYI, so they land on any phone without an app or mobile data. New Zealand launched with a single plan, with multi-location plans on the roadmap.
- How much does sched.fyi cost?
- In the Philippines, the Notebook plan is ₱499 per month for one location (₱399 per month billed annually), and the Chain plan is ₱1,199 per month for up to 3 branches (₱959 per month billed annually). The first 500 businesses lock in this founding rate permanently. SMS reminders are included in every plan, and every business gets the first month free with no credit card required.
- What happens when a customer doesn't show up?
- The business flags the no-show in one tap. The next booking from that mobile number gets a stricter reminder window, and after two no-shows the business decides whether to keep accepting bookings from that number. sched.fyi keeps the record; the owner keeps the decision.
- What data does sched.fyi keep about customers?
- For customers, sched.fyi stores a name, a mobile number, and the business and time booked — no payment data, no location history, and no browsing data. Booking records are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted, and customers can request earlier deletion by emailing [email protected].
