Settle bookings your way: GCash, bank transfer and the approve step

Money stays between you and your customer

Ask a café, a salon, a studio or a clinic owner in the Philippines how they collect money and the answer is almost never a card. It is GCash, sent customer-to-owner and confirmed by a screenshot, or a bank transfer that clears in a few days. sched.fyi keeps that arrangement instead of replacing it: there is no card processor in the booking flow and no client app. The customer pays the business directly, and the software records what happened.

The approve step

When a booking needs payment, the customer pays by bank transfer or GCash and attaches their proof. You review the proof and approve it, on the web dashboard or in the iPhone owner app. Nothing is marked paid until you say so: a booking is attested by the customer and approved by you, and sched.fyi never says money arrived on its own.

Where the payment step sits is up to you. The booking form can carry a payment field that is completed after the booking exists, on the confirmation page, next to your written payment instructions.

Class packs: pay once, book with credit

Studios sell packs the same way. A customer chooses a pack and sees its size, price and validity, verifies their email with a one-time code, pays the studio by GCash or bank transfer and attaches proof when asked. Credits stay pending until the owner approves the payment. From then on an eligible active credit is applied automatically when that member books; returning members never have to choose "use a credit". The full flow is on the Pilates studio page.

No-shows

A no-show costs the slot. sched.fyi's answer is a one-tap flag: mark the booking as a no-show, and the customer's booking history shows it the next time they book. The owner decides how to handle future bookings from that customer. Reminders help fewer bookings get to that point. When SMS is on for your business and the booking has a mobile number your SMS provider can reach, texts go out 24 hours and 2 hours before the appointment; a booking made with less notice gets only the reminders still ahead of it. A booking confirmed by email instead, because you set Ask for phone to optional or off or the number is one your provider cannot reach, gets one reminder email the day before, if it was booked more than a day ahead.

What sched.fyi costs you

Every business gets the first month free, with no credit card required. After the trial, the price is the published rate for your tier: as of October 2026, Notebook is ₱499 a month for one location (₱399 a month billed annually) and Chain is ₱1,199 a month for up to three branches (₱959 a month billed annually). SMS reminders are included in every plan. On iPhone you can subscribe inside the app through Apple; everywhere else you pay by cash, GCash, Maya or bank transfer, the same instruments your own customers use.

Honest limits

sched.fyi does not hold or move customer money, and it is not practice-management software. It is the booking front door: the link, the queue, the reminders and the approve step. Everything behind the counter stays in the tools your business already uses.
